Luxluna’s music is a no genre music. Three released albums, three different musical contexts. In Borgo Apocalisse, their latest album, they move with no hesitations from the Balkan march to tango, from psychedelics to a transversal interpretation of popular folklore. However, in every work we can always find a theme, a keynote which guides the listener: it is the story of a humanity observed from different points of view, a story which talks through the memories of symbol-characters in “Transfert”, in the analysis of an isolated volunteer’s persecutive paranoia in “Io ricordo tutto” (I remember everything), in the interweaving of almost grotesque stories whose bitter irony strikes the inhabitants of an imaginary country, in “Borgo Apocalisse” (Apocalypse Village). A sort of black Humanism with highly cinematographic colours that become even more evident when environmental noisinesses and everyday dialogues support sound and lyrics.
The band decided to interrupt their activity in 2007.
